Facing Racism Workshop-Alleghany Highlands Neighborhood

The Justice and Mercy Commission of the Peaks Presbytery, along with the Justice and Mercy Ministry, is pleased to offer a learning workshop intitled “Let’s Talk About It: Facing Racism.” Using biblical scripture and engaging dialogue, the workshop is designed to facilitate introductory conversations on the topic of systemic racism while empowering clergy and lay leaders to spread the “good news” of community to the broader Church.

1^st Presbyterian Church Covington in Covington VA will host the full day workshop, 9am-4pm, on Monday, October 30. Registration will close on Wednesday, October 25.
