DESCRIPTION:Change is a constant throughout our personal and communal lives. The founders of adaptive leadership theory suggest that we humans don’t actually fear change–we fear loss. When our sense of loss is greater than our sense of purpose\, resistance kicks in. During our time together we will take a deeper look at the forces keeping us stuck and we will experience new ways of listening to each other and to God’s Spirit so we can join God in the new thing God is doing.

Given that the world will have changed\, the former is probably not wise.  If this transition stage is not managed well\, congregations might emerge showing more signs of what was lost than what has been learned. \nAt this Zoom event\, Dr. George Anderson\, pastor of Second Presbyterian Church of Roanoke\, will lead us through a short presentation followed by breakout and large group discussions.   \nThe live event with Rev.
