The Youth of this Presbytery are involved in many
activities, serving and worshipping the Lord in their local churches,
throughout the presbytery, and in the world.
God of ages and giver of all good things, we
thank you for the gift of young people who respond to your
wonderful love and amazing grace.
We thank you for the love that parents have for their
children and that children have for their parents.
We thank you also for friendship, for laughter, and for
shared sorrows and tears. Fill
us with your spirit so that we all may be witnesses to your
redeeming love. Through
Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

YADs
Youth Advisory Delegates. These dedicated
youth attend the Presbytery meetings to represent the youth from
across the presbytery. They have voice (they may voice their opinions
on the subjects at hand), but they may not vote. They play an
important role by consistently reminding the voting elders to
keep the youth in mind when making all decisions. A YAD's term
is one year.

Presbyterian youth groups across the country
are invited to participate in an on-line Youth Video Challenge
as part of ymiLIVE
(Youth Mission Initiate LIVE , pronounced why-em-eye LIVE).
Youth groups will compete to win one of two $25,000 endowment
funds established by the Presbyterian Foundation to benefit their
church youth ministry programs.

Youth
and adult youth leaders participate in worship, play, music,
community building, and Bible study. This is known as the
Presbyterian Youth Triennium or PYT! PYT is for young people
entering or completed high school (approximately age 14-19 years
old by July 20, 2010).
