Retreat Leadership

  Meet our Keynoter:
Rev. Peter Thompson is currently serving as Head Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg, VA and is excited to join us this year at our retreats! Peter spent his childhood in both Clearwater, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina areas, and then ventured on to attend Montreat College, playing baseball all the way through. After his 2003 college graduation, he was invited to professional draft try-outs in both Cincinnati and San Diego. But God had other plans. He left try-outs and followed his heart, God’s call, to a career in the church. He attended Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA and is currently working on his doctorate through Columbia Theological Seminary. Rev.
